Has any Democrat that voted for "war" admitted it was wrong ?
None that I have heard. Some have said the "peace" has not been handled well...or they were "hoodwinked" in some manner or other but none have said they think it was wrong. It is difficult to admit we are wrong, especially on such a humongous and important decision. The more important the decision, the more difficult to admit we were wrong. But their consolation is that they are in the majority in the House and Senate, even if they are wrong. Those that were against the war may have been right but they are in the minority in the Senate and in the presidential race.

Politicians like to sit on the fence so they can get off on either side if the dogs start biting their ankles. We see that with some of the candidates at this time. No need to name names.

1. Waxman
says he based his decision on info from the admin about Iraq having nukes. He's angry and has written everyone powerfully about that.

4. I agree
But he is the one I've heard of that is taking it to Bush/Rumsfeld/Powell/Rice. I respect him for that, not for his vote.

2. Tom Harkin
just before the war he said he had been fooled by Bush, had made a mistake, and would take back the vote if he could.

9. god bless em
Thank you Tom. I knew he had voted for the war but I always had him as a running mate idea, now I know why not only is he a great progressive populist but he regretted that war vote. Pheww.
