Greenhouse effect 'may benefit man'
Claims by pro-Bush think-tank outrage eco-groups

The Observer

Good article. Neocons at work in London attacking Blair and UK chief scientist David King. Funded by Exxon Mobil (surprise, surprise, surprise).

This is one of the Neocons' favorite tactics. They fund research to support their own idiotic conclusions, then claim the science is not certain.

1. An Exxon Mobil surprise?
"For years, the tobacco companies blocked action on smoking by sowing doubt about the science. Esso and its friends have done the same thing in the US on climate change and now they're busy in Britain. Global warming is the biggest threat we face, the science is certain."

Changing the subject a little
I don't see the fundamentalist that fight for the right to life, picketing the tobacco companies like they do Planned Parenthood Organizations! How come?

2. My grandfather is meeting Blair this week to talk about global warming
his name is Wallce S Broecker and he is the leading scientist on global warming in the entire world.

I'm going to call him when he gets back and see what he thought of Blair.
