In Alexandra Pelosi's documentary she is interviewing a drunk republican congressman from New York by the name of King outside the White House at a BBQ. He straight up says they'll win b'c they do the counting.

Even drunk, how would he have such a thought? It's a weird thought to have. In the spirit of competition, nobody would say this.

Could you imagine at a football game if a buddy of one of the team's owners said "Ah, don't worry, we're taking care of the referees". It just seems bizarre and, well, very unmacho. A macho person would not admit to cheating, they would say they're gonna kick the other person's ASS.

This is not about ass-kicking, it's about cheating.

I write screenplays, sometimes for a living.

I have to write dialogue.

Why would a man say such a line? If he wanted to be cocky about an honest election, he might say something like "We're gonna kick John Kerry's ass, you just watch" or some other boastful statement, but the more I think about WHY a man would say something like this the more it dawns on me ...

He says it because it's true.

And he knows they're gonna get away with it.

And he knows that nobody who matters will care.

Their tracks are covered.

It's really disturbing as all hell.
