Looks to me like with what is happening
in the world today. Euros up, Dollar down, unmanageable deficits, the war in Iraq and Afghanistan, the Canadians turning their back to our pResident. China, Russia, hell most of the world hate us. I think we are in for another great depression not unlike the last one. After this show of force and arrogance by the little *, I'm worried about the country's of the world taking advantage of our situation and uniting against us, to make sure we don't ever do this shit again. And who can blame them. There have been too much destruction and killing by the U.S. these last couple years. We are the ones who will have to pay, not the fat cats. 'Oh it'll hurt them also but they have a lot more of a cushion than we, the average, do. We'll be reaping what we're sowing now for years to come.

2. That about sums it up.

Something unexpected could bring things down like a house of cards.
Like the pandemic they are hawking, or unpatriotic Americans not spending enough at the malls (when your President comes out, after an event like 911, and urges Americans to "go shopping" - you know the jig up, and we have sold ourselves down the river), or crop failure in the Heartland (bees are threatening to stop doing their job {mites}, outsourcing reaches critical mass...etc...etc.

The world, that has suffered as we've frolicked, is watching and waiting for our fall, I wouldn't expect much sympathy.

5. WTO sanctions against the USA...
are going to demonstrate to US separatists (who believe that we can go it alone in all things) that we are as dependant on the world market as that market is dependant on us.

Meanwhile, oil prices are creeping back up to $50, after having been artificially reduced prior to the election.

But eyes are shut. The economy is strong. We are recovering. Nothing to see here. Go buy xmas presents. Move along.
