Sorry, no room in the subject line for quotes-- that statement is from Riverbend's blog.

Reading Riverbend all the way back from the beginning is a dreadful education in the consequences of hubris. She has gone from hopeful for a better future to angry and anti-American. Next thing you know, she'll hate us for our freedom....

it reads like your neighbor on orchard lane, not a wild-eyed terrorist. which is what most iraqis are. just like your neighbors, or people anywhere.

when the general is indefensible, concentrate on the specific. when the situation is reversed, reverse it.
