I'm 23 and I haven't had SEX AT ALL! I wasted my life on video games. My parents bought me every game system there is cause I wanted it. I never had sex because the games kept me busy!
My cousin who was a country boy didn't have a game system. They were having sex in middle school! Buy xbox's! They keep you from sex! Computers too! I spend to much time at Democratic Underground to think of Sex!

No video games, no killer diseases...I got laid on my fifteenth birthday.
I disagree completely with you guys. Sex is NOT highly over rated. Video games are.

8. I don't know if you are joking or not.... |

But I think that being too busy playing video games and surfing the net has kept my two teenaged daughters occupied. The oldest just turned 20 and the youngest is 17.
I've kept them steeped in Sega, then Nintendo, and every other frikkin game console that came along. Also, they stay on the internet, building up their CD collection by downloading free music.
Sometimes, I feel as though I'm depriving my girls of the old teenage ritual of trying to get laid and sometimes I feel guilty. When this happens, I slap myself, have a drink and those guilty feelings go away. :-)

12. Come on! It isn't the games or the computer... it's the boredom. |
|
Having grown up in the most red of the red states (which I believe still holds the record for teen pregnancies), I can tell you that it isn't about a video game or a computer or going to church or reciting the Bible... it's about having *something*... hell, *ANYTHING* to do.
When I was in middle school, my town had a small movie theater and roller skating rink. By the time I entered junior high, the roller rink had closed down. During high school, the movie theater closed too. Guess who bought to the buildings? Churches.
I'm not exaggerating when I tell you that you couldn't drive more than 2 blocks in my hometown without driving by a church -- 99.9% of them Protestant Christian. There were no museums... there were no amusement parks... there were very few public parks with playground equipment... individuals were not allowed to use softball/baseball/football/soccer fields. (Those were reserved for organized sports which cost money.)
The thing to do for fun in my hometown was to score a keg or a bag and head out to the lake. There were simply few other options for entertainment.
