As I'm sure most people know by now, Michael Jordan's brother has been deployed to Iraq. He has asked that his hitch in the U.S. Army be extended by one year. Now I ask you, why is this any more signifigant than any other man or woman who is either coming home or going over? Michael Jordan was a great basketball player, but that's all he was, a basketball player. The media in this country is so obssessed with celebrity and near celebrity that something like this turns into a major news story. In 1991, he (Michael Jordan) refused to meet with bush 1 at the White House as league champions often do. I think he may be a Democrat, so why isn't that mentioned? No, the media whores concentrate solely on the brother of a famous man is going to Iraq. When will it all stop?! Wake up media whores! You want a blockbuster story? Look inside the White House. There are dozens there. Fraud, coverups, treasonous acts, illegal wars, etc. etc. I will provide a link to this story, even though its somewhat old news now. www.cnn.com/2004/US/11/29/jordans.brother/index.html on edit-the above link doesn't work correctly. Just go to cnn.com and you can link up there.
