10. I did hear that a group had sent a letter of protest to the PM
to request that they NOT allow him to visit the country. I heard that today on Stephanie Miller's show. They sited 17 different reasons why he should not be allowed in the country. I didn't hear the whole show so I don't know what the PM's response was.

15. It was a group of lawyers sending a legal notice...
I read the letter and it put the PM on notice that either 1) Bush would be invited by the PM allowing diplomatic immunity and then they would have to pursue the PM for abbeding a war criminal, or 2) the PM univites Bush and they are forced by law to arrest and try him as a war criminal. I've been waiting to see this unfold. Simply awesome! :) -G

11. Should have arrested him
There was an article a couple of weeks ago suggesting that Bush should have been arrested under Canada's war crimes law. The author argued that if Bush entered Canada he would be subject to arrest under it. It's a shame this would never really happen.

23. not if he entered as an invited guest of the PM...
then he would be on official business and immune during the visit. By uninviting him, they have a shot if he is still intent on visiting. Bold move by the PM if this is true. I like it! :) -G

The majority of us don't want him (disregard election lies), and neither does anyone else in the world.

The pickpocket in the voting booth, a veritable pariah, a moral leper and a security nightmare. He should dip into his own funds to pay the security for The Most Paranoid Man in the World.

Canada: Bush Visit Likely To Stir Passions

Protest organizers are pulling out all the stops as they try to gather crowds in time for a visit to Canada by U.S. President George W. Bush.
Mr. Bush comes Tuesday to a nation where many people are deeply unhappy about his policies. He can expect major protests in Ottawa and reportedly cancelled plans to address Parliament because of the likelihood of being heckled.

His pending visit was the source of lively exchanges Monday in the House of Commons, where opposition politicians pressed the government to use the opportunity to push trade and security issues.

...Mr. Bush's two-day visit was announced only a few weeks ago, leaving little time to rally demonstrators. But protest organizers, who say their intentions are peaceful, hope to get thousands of people into the streets.
