Tulsa kid marine, 19, dies in "non-combat-related incident" (local news) |
|
in Iraq. How the fuck can any "incident" in Iraq be "non-combat-related"?? Isn't "combat" the reason these kids are there in the first goddamn place? :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :puke: :grr: :puke: :grr:

often mean that the person is driving at extreme high speed through an area to lessen the chances of getting shot. If he crashes, it is called a "non-combat" death, but it wouldn't have happened if people there weren't shooting at him.

Suicide. Car wreck. Building fire. Tripped and fell on a rock. It could be anything. When my brother in law was in southern Iraq, he saw two noncombat deaths. One was a guy who accidentally backed his Humvee into a canal while making a 3 point turn and drowned, and another guy who was crushed by a pallet as he was standing next to a forklift that was unloading a shiping container in Basra.
I wonder if these get counted in the overall casualty figures?

9. It could be but needn't mean suicide |
|
I would think, any death due to things other than direct enemy combat activities.
So suicide, driving accidents, illness, etc., any of them.

the kid refused to fight so he was "forced" to commit suicide. I wouldn't put it past 'em.
