Secession: Popular among the Oppressed
Edited on Tue Nov-30-04 01:32 AM by Saffy
WTF?

We, the American (re)public, are casting judgment on damn near any other nation/country that just so happens to be sitting on/ owning natural resources that we, in our 20% ecologically murderous fervor, have concluded belongs to US.

That would be U.S.

And, so the Ukraine is at the behest of a civil dispute over potential election fraud. What do we, the U.S. do? We sit on our collective asses, casting judgement hither and nither, licking ourselves into politically- righteous passivity. We're apparently willling to judge the rest of this planet, but we're made of socio-political teflon.

ANd, now we're looking at Iran? Of course they have WMD's!!!! WE gave them WMD's in the 70's, 80's and 90's.

Isn't there some sort of conflict of interest here?

If THEY -the Ukranians- can secede, why can't we?

1. I Swear
I think half of the U.S. thinks winning or losing an election is more like a ballgame. Rah, Rah, our team won, who cares if there were a few "little dirty tricks" alls fair.
