"terrorists".The creation of this war must rank at the very top of PsyOps designed to control a supposedly civilized and advanced Western nation raised on the concept of supremacy of Reason.From here on, we can prepare ourselves for any number of tactics reminiscent of the McCarthy era of madness:character assassination, black lists of undesirables, violation of constitutional guarantees,rubber stamp Congress and Judiciary, rigged elections, you name it.

Outside the country, it will be open season against anyone or any country that have been designated as terrorists.As one source of terrorism wanes in the public imagination, another one will be created. There will be no hiding place from the terror unleashed by our rulers. The propaganda machine is already at full throttle doing its part.It may become more strident yet.

1. You might be right

Obviously we need to keep the pressure on to minimize the damage President Bush and his cronies will perpetrate on us.

On the other hand I'm not sure about the clash of civilizations. I've seen reference to it, and one can assume it means the clash between the United States and the Middle East, but your post concentrates on the steps the United States is taking, in some cases to repress its own people.

3. As I said in my post, we will see a two pronged war.One against our own

people and the other against supposed terrorists.Just as in the McCarthy era, an endless supply of terrorists is being created ready to be pressed into action when needed.
