My college had an AIDS program today, but I couldn't go because I had a class at that time. I did read some of the charts and information they had posted up on bulletin boards around school...I thought it was the least I could do.
I guess I'll just try to make other people aware of it, and ask that we consider the people who are dealing with a horrible disease that carries with it an undeserved social stigma.

and this day is especially poignant for me, as I reminisce and think about all those who have touched my life and are no longer of this earth. I have been involved with this epidemic since the early days and although we have made great strides in treatment, there is still so much to be done.
