Tinfoil hat time RE: Bush cabinet resignations. |
|
Has a president ever had this many high profile cabinet resignations to start a second term? I am not too old but I can't remember this many cabinet members resigning in such large numbers so quickly. Which leads me to the next question. WHY?
My tinfoil hat side says that its because these people don't want to be dragged into court or to Capitol Hill once the next LIHOP attack occurs as a preface to the next war with Iran. Any thoughts?

LIHOP is "Let it Happen On Purpose" referring to the Bush admin's involvement in 9-11.

Referring to 911 as a stepping stone to their fascistic agenda for America. They did seem to come up with that UNpatriotic Act rather quickly, didn't they? BHN

But I seem to remember about 7 resigning from Clinton's admin in his second term. It's honestly not that unusual from what I've heard to change some of your staff for your second term - this time is just more satisfying because that freak Ashcroft has gone home to whack of to kiddie porn instead of protecting us from Calico cats and the boobs of justice full time.

You are right, this is not normal. Now, there are always changes going from term one to term two, but I never remember this many. and I'm sure it's not over. In another thread I said that i think that thses people know the shit is about to hit the fan and that the second * is perceived to be weak, all his enemies will descend on him, knives in hand. * and his inner circle are to hubristic to see this. I'd get lost now too.

I am inclined to think that this bunch was the warm up team for the REAL dictators. I fear we are going to see even MORE despicable characters take their places. BHN

The purging of the CIA and the moderates, such as they were. It doesn't look good.

then yes, the new crew is bound to be so horrific that, as you say, they could not have been exposed to the light of day until BushCo got their "mandate..." bhn

14. He asked for letters of resignation from them all, |
|
but I don't think that means he replaced his entire cabinet.
