Has any cable or network news reported the protests in Canada? |
|
Has anyone seen the protests being covered?

Major story on the negative Canadian reception. But of course, they spun it tomake poor georgie look like he was being picked on.

4. CTV opened early news with it |

Pretty much a non-event. They didn't show any wide-shots, just tight shots of a crowd in one of the narrower streets downtown. That's usually a sign that it's a small turnout. A few thugs got busted for throwing rocks but for the most part it was pretty tame. Parliament hill looked deserted- I've seen bigger crowds turn out for those godawful Canada Day concerts.

5. CBS news had pretty good coverage. They said 1000's; NYT said 100's. |
