Question about Tom Ridge and the Color Codes |
|
does anyone know if the terror level alert has ever been anything but orange and yellow since Tom Ridge started using it? Has it ever gone up to Red? Has it ever been down to green or blue?

Blue = terrorists say "Hey, sounds like a good time to bomb them!" That's why it's such a stupid plan.

5. Just yellow and orange. |
|
If it went up to Red, they might actually be called upon to provide some evidence of an actual threat. If it went down, they'd have no reason to keep scaring people. They like it right where it is. Orange alert is the color equivalent of their beloved "no specific threat" phrase.
