No F***ing Way Do They Get Away With This! |
|
Fact: The White House deleted and manipulated language in the EPA report on air quality at Ground Zero to hide the fact that hazardous toxins were present. Thousands will develop respiratory illness and many will die prematurely as a result.
Just think about the enormity of this crime.
There are still supporters of this administration? There is still a debate?
Will no one pay for this?
I am just in awe.

Wilson has announced that he will have his private attorneys petition the Department of Justice demanding that Roverer a/k/a Karl Rove be prosecuted under the 1982 Intelligence Identity Protection Act . This law specifically supposed to prevent what has happened in this case and that is the Bush administration attempting to retaliate against a senior government official who tells the truth about that administration by revealing the identities of intelligence members within their own families.

9. "The air quality is too bad in NYC" |
|
this refers to the weeks/months following 9/11. remember that the 'pile' smoldered for a very long time. and the smoke plume dumped ash over a very wide area (including my brooklyn neighborhood).
conditions now are pretty much what they were on 9/10/01. but even weeks afterward, the stench from the 'pile' could be smelled from blocks away from the site.
he'll get away with it. he's never taken responsibility for anything (bad) in his entire life.

12. I was traveling to NYC weekly after 9/11 |
|
Starting in October. A lot of my customers at the time were downtown, as was my company's HQ. The air was terrible, the stench really didn't dissipate until months later, and though I have never had a breathing problem in my life, I felt asthma-like symptoms whenever I ventured down to Wall Street. I can't imagine actually LIVING down there-like my friends who live in Battery Park City. I'm sure 20 or 30 years down the road we'll see the carcinogenic effects of this, not to mention birth defects.
FUCK BUSH!

14. "birth defects" already happening... |
|
well, a clear rise in low birth weight babies being born to people exposed to the WTC toxins.
also, I have a co-worker with a NYFD husband. the number of men that went on disability/retired due to lung problems afterwards was staggering... further reducing a devastated force.
it will only get worse.
and, btw, bushies are TRAITORS. and you know the penalty for treason. bring em on!
indict, convict, pass sentence, carry out sentence.

i really was NOT in the *thick* of it....
if they had not gotten the subways running (well, MY train) then I would have been much much closer to the major smoke that day getting to the Manhattan Bridge...
but there was still paper falling out of that plume in Brooklyn when I finally got home....

8. What is sad about this for me is that the answer is not an unequivocal |
|
yes. There should be no question about this at all, but I would bet that anyone who reads this will also be thinking I wonder how they are going to slide on this one. Every fiber of my being wants them to pay for what they have done. I believe that what comes around does eventually go around it just isn't happening fast enough to suit me with chimpy and his slimebucket crew.

Edited on Thu Sep-04-03 03:16 PM by JustJoe
http://www.turnto10.com/news/2455185/detail.html"We were told that a desire to reopen Wall Street and national security concerns were the reasons for changing the press releases," (Inspector General Nikki Tinsley, the EPA's top watchdog) said.

20. Asbestos, dioxins at 1,500 times exposure limits! |
|
The worst of it was...such was the upswelling of patriotism at the time, if the Busheviks had even released half the data and arranged for minimal protections, I'll bet so goddamned many of those brave volunteers and rescue workers would have consciously decided to get what protection was available (something a bit closer the right full protection, not a fucking wet handkerchief) and consciously decide that they would take the chance because they did what had to be done. Then those who incurred rerspiratory ailments (probably not as bad had the Busheviks began airlifting in as much protection, even if it was only partial, as was available) would have made the concious and brave decision to risk that in service.
But no, instead they were utterly lied to, and instead of getting half-protection, they got NOTHING but a lifetime of respiratory ailments.
Disgusting, grotesque. Evil.
You know...what we've come to expect as normal from the Busheviks.

18. That all depends on how far we've sunk down the Orwellian Spiral |
|
I have to say I'm afraid that it's very far indeed and that you may be mistaken.
Orwellian Madness. I've been surrounded by increasing levels of cognitive dissonance in Imperial Amerika since the Attempted Coup of 1998 and especially after the Bloodless Coup of 2000 so much that you'd think I'd get used to it, like the horse Boxer in "Animal Farm".
But I can't. It is just so offensive to the intellect and also it is so goddamned like a taste of the Old Soviet Union that I, who is pretty anti-Commie (7 great uncles offed by Stalinists in the 20s -- Grandmom escapes just before they start getting hauled off), have a natural revulsion to Comrade-style lies and propaganda.
But to get back to my original point: While I wish your post subject line is true, I'm afriaid that, like the collapse of the Old Soviet Union, I'll have to see some concrete evidence before ZI surrender to wishful thinking...
