I noticed CNN was talking a day or two ago about how the attacks had decreased dramatically, and they were attributing it to the success in Fallujah. I noticed they went on to discuss the number of attacks, rather than the severity. Doesn't much matter to me if there were 5 attacks or 20, what matters is how many people were injured or killed, but they didn't report that.

This young man left behind a brother and a sister here in San Diego. He was like a father to them. I have to look them in the eye every day. These children left behind are in my Martial Arts School, and they know that I'm in the Military, and that I disagreed with the Iraqi quagmire.

Their brother died believing that he was defending democracy. I don't think I have the heart to look them in the eye and tell them the truth :(

Work graveyard shift here in Irvine, my work mate is a Marine that just retired, lives down in San Diego, he still believes we're right in being there. I always avoided talking about it with him, until after the election when he came in gloating. Kinda funny, I'm ex-Army and guess the having been in service tag earns me more credibility with him than the other guys we work with who were arguing same points I was, but he didn't respond same way to me.

I just don't understand how our fellow buddies could still beleive in this operating and administration.
