With Love on International Aids Day. This thread's for Brad Reimer.
Dear Brad,

You knew every animal at Lincoln Park Zoo. The terns in the birdhouse flew down to greet you. Certain chimps in the apehouse came to mug at you. The squirrels outside the zoo entrance even ran toward you for their snacks when you made your daily pilgrimage. You INVENTED the "Snow White Game"! You as bait, on a blanket, at the park entrance--suddenly birds & squirrels everywhere!

We didn't know what AIDS was then--it was "gay cancer". Were you too ashamed to tell us what was wrong? Did you KNOW? Why did you hide?

I miss you.

E

4. No crying, 'kay?

2. What a wonderful tribute.
Thanks e.

I'm listening to KFOG from San Fran, and my favorite DJ just told about losing his partner years ago. It made me very sad.

If any of you have not read "And the Band Played On" by Randy Shilts yet, go do it today.
