In the NY Daily News (NOT famous as a bastion of "liberal media") see the article by Juan Gonzales.

Some people won't take it seriously unless it's in "real" newspapers. The fact that this is in a notoriously conservative paper speaks volumes.

5. It needs to 'leak' out to all of the media.
Of course, by the time of the public scandal, it will be declared 'too late to do anything.'

Let's face it: Americans just don't have the will to protect their democratic rights -- they're just not like Ukrainians.
