Institute for Creationist Strategies - religion back into public schools
"The ICS was established in 1989 to confront the increasing teaching of evolution in public schools. Through consultation with several national and international religious organizations, we have developed a long-range, comprehensive plan to gradually reintroduce religion into public school science and non-science courses."

http://home.comcast.net/~vanandel1/index.htm

And from Strategy #1 - Donate religious materials:
"These donations can also be tax deductible, but are best made anonymously so that a connection is not easily made to the religious affiliations of the donor."

1. These people are free to run their own schools, or home-school.
If they want to teach their children some dark-ages curriculum, they are already free to do it. Leave the rest of us the hell alone.

2. I'm squeamish in calling it religion.
It's like somebody deciding to "scientifically" prove that "Jack and the Beanstalk" actually happened. It's not really "Jack and the Beanstalk" if you're stupid and take it literally.

4. It's satire--& very good!
This was my first clue: Supporters of evolution are generally the most educated people in communities, and this naturally leads them to want to tell us how to educate the students in your community.

Thanks for the laugh.

"The Van Andel Creation Research Center is strategically located in or near a very large variety of biological and geological areas of great importance to the creationist position. The Grand Canyon, just two hours to the north, is perhaps the most geologically interesting area in the U.S."

That was linked from here

which was linked from this list of Creationist organizations
