I didn't find this anywhere else, but Randi Rhodes just said that his sister died.

So sorry Andy and thank you for continuing to work on these voting issues in Florida in spite of your grief.

...but plans to be back on the road by Friday. Right now, he needs some family time.

She had been sick for quite some time, and collapsed on Monday afternoon.

and I'm sure he appreciates all the DUers that are thinking of him and sending good thoughts his way. I'm supposed to see him sometime while he's down here for the funeral and I promise to give him lots of hugs on everyone's behalf. :)

35. Thanks everyone...

My sister passed quietly after a very long struggle with sarcoidosis. She had been sick such a long time and I am relieved her suffering is over. I will miss her very much and it is the small things I will miss the most. We never saw eye to eye politically and we had many heated arguments over the current imposter to the White House, but she was my sister and at the end of the day I loved her very much. Jan was 20 years older than me and besides being my sister she was also like another mother to me.

I have run the gamut of emotion over the last couple of days from anger to sadnedd to laughing at her silly "Susie Wong" impression. She was a funny funny lady with a wry sense of humor and I will miss the jokes.

Godspeed Janice...we are gonna miss you more than you know.
