Aaron Brown
The best actual news program on television. Tonight's show has covered the gamut of the suffering of families in Falluja (heartbreaking) and the suffering of malnourished children (heartbreaking). His is the only show that ends nightly with a salute to the troops who have died since his last show.

1. Someone here suggested if you want Aaron Brown
to take Dan Rather's place, to e-mail CBS News and tell them.
I did just that. :toast:

4. I'd rather he have 60 minutes per night...
he does in depth stories; no time on network news

2. Jim Lehrer's show has been closing (in silence) with photos and
information about each of the troops who have died since the last show.

It's been going on since the Iraq invasion began, more than a year now.

6. He and Lou Dobbs are the only CNN people that I can stand...
CNN's political pundits are pretty aweful and pretty biased. Brown is most likely a liberal and I would guess that they keep him on so that liberals will watch CNN.

9. Well...what was his take on Shock and Awe??
I can't remember a one of them, especially on FOX wannabe CNN that didn't pimp up the initial invasion as a good thing,so NOW they do stories about the suffering in Iraq. Duh.....why the hell didn't they do a story like that in April on 03??
