I have seen the curtailing of individual rights, via the Patriot Act. I have seen incompetant politicians such as Rice fail horribly at thier job and still be allowed that position. I have seen Americans jump off of huge building to save themselves as a result of OUR FUCKING POLICIES THROUGHT THE 70's AND 80's. I have read about the atrocities we commited under Carter and Reagan in the Middle East and in Latin America. I have met and am friends with the homosexuals our government hates. I have read of our attempts at ousting Hugo Chavez, while supporting Columbia. I have seen our government, for a century, favor entrepenuers over common civilians. I have witnessed the bloated pentagon budget that was attributed to the Soviet Union, but which has never left us. I've seen elected officials expressing rascism and bigotry. I have witnessed our media subdue the people into not giving a shit if our country tortures innocent people and guilty people, against international laws.

I HAVE SEEN VOTER FRAUD. I am only 21. I have seen no legitimate election. I've seen both parties in unison reject democracy. I am witnessing the process of the government to turn women into baby making machines. I've read about the government running into bedrooms to stop LEGITAMENT GAY COUPLES from making love. I've witness (via CSPAN) our overpaid officials of both parties having fun limiting civil rights.

I've had enough of this alienation. I've had enought of this implementation of laws that discriminate. I've had enough of these laws that do not cover everyone equally and try to institute a certain religion.

I'm sick of it and will legally purchase a friggin gun next paycheck. American pretends to democracy. If you visit our foreign policy it cannot do anything but appear Nazi-ish.

Substitute Jew with Muslim, and consider how Hitler murdered his best friend for allowing homosexuality in his organization.

THEY ARE NOT MODERATING, AT ALL. WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU GUYS DOING? WE ARE AT FULL WAR! THIS ISN'T WATERGATE.

Find when are your local elections for the Dmeocratic Party... the internal officers as it were... and godamit, see that fire in the belly you have... lets take over the party and change the dynamic

Look trust me I have taken first hand testimony from some of the people who were in Central America... and filed reports, I have helped people get away from that situation, I have been there at the moment a child is born (medics get that benefit) and I have also seen people die.

One thing I can tell you is, you give up, they win.

So YOU CAN AND SHOULD do something about it.

And you are right, this is not Watergate... and this may very well lead to a very hot and long CIVIL WAR...

5. I just started college, and can barely afford my insurance payments,,,,

but I do the most I can. I live in NE PA, not much capital for garnering votes, but I try. I did my goddamn best at work and around the Scranton/Worthington campus. I irritated. I aggravated. I informed, every single person I knew.

Lackawanna county was pretty much the only county in northern Pennsylvania to go blue, and we did it well. I'm not done working. I may not be working for the democrats, at this point, but I'm still working against Bush.

here is quite possibly the biggest secret in both parties, and the righties exploited it...

Both parties hold local and state office elections every so often (two years) and these officers decide who to recruit to run, and party platforms before presenting them to the membership at large

You want to change the dynamic within the Democratic Party? YOU REALLY WANT TO DO IT? RUN for any of these offices and become an officer

We all say we want to move the party back to its origins. This is the way we will accomplish it, a precinct at a time.

Also you need to get yourself a copy of Lakoff's book, "Don't talk of an Elephant" so you can create new frames.

I intend to contact them tomorrow to see how I can help.

Right now you are feeling alone and isolated, find your local DFA group, they may help. But this is what we historians call ANOMIE...

Besides, I'm a 21 year old with dreadlocks down to my back. Most people don't even take me seriously until they know how passionate I get about the bullshit this country is causing.

At this point the only hope I have for the DNC is that they drop the DLC and choose Dean to lead thier party.

at all levels, literally infiltrate the DNC at ALL LEVELS so we can get rid of the DLC....

He is thinking STRATEGICALLY... and the strategic goal is to return the Democratic Party to the Democratic Wing of the Democratic Party, this is not a slogan... that is what he (and many of us) realize it needs to be done'

Oh and yes I am pissed and I have no trust in this government or any government, this is actually healthy, but as I said, you want to return the Demooratic Party to its progresive roots (as of 1910) either form a succesfull challenge or take it from within, and this is but one of the multi pronged strategies we need... civil disobedience is fine by me by the way... as long as it is peaceful or you are playing into them

As I said, first things first, learn to frame the debate...

When tehy say Tax Relief, counter, Service Fees

When they say, Tax and spend liberal, say credit card Republican

Pro Life..... pro fetus (theyy don't care what happens to the child after birth)

When tehy say social securiyt reform counter social security privatization

When they say, Leave no child behind, counter, private school privatization.
