A 'Jobless' Recovery Is No Recovery At All. |
|
That's a bumper-sticker waiting to happen.
I'm sorry, but this is more jargon bullsh*t, along the lines of 'right-sizing' and 'leveraging synergies.'
Why, oh why do the candidates not jump on this? The media is reporting that Bush* is claiming that 'the economy is growing.' For whom? CEOs? Businesses may be seeing increased productivity, but they're achieving it with fewer workers.

Is what's good for "Mickey Dee's..."
Remember "Li'l Abner?"
What's good for General Bullmoose is good for the U.S.A.
Odd how the same themes occur over and over again over the years.

pass it on...
The bumper sticker: Thanks, W, for the JobLoss Recovery.
Or: W*s economic miracle - a jobloss recovery only surpassed by Hoover's Depression.

3. I've been saying this for weeks. |

What the hell good is a jobless recovery?
Someone should tell these geniuses in Washington and their accomplices in the corporate world that the primary reason businesses are allowed to flourish in this country is to provide jobs and income for working people.
Otherwise, what good are they?

4. Sec. Evans said, "A job is the American dream." |
|
I just heard him on Buchanan and Press. A dream? How about a reality.
