Interesting hypothesis. Sounds probable.

Although they may try to influence and spread disinfo, misinfo, and such, I don't think they realize that we are far more resliant because we tend to THINK about it, even with open minds.

On the other hand, I see them tend to spin around things that are planted far more and with passionate gusto, sans critical thought.

But in truth, I think a witch hunt is the last thing we need. It's possible that a few people here are freeper trolls, but I really doubt there are that many--and certainly in trying to slam down on freepers, we would naturally slam down on a lot of innocents as well.
