Chelsea outgrew her funny adolescent face and got a great hair stylist as well as professional makeup lessons. That's all.

I work in the film and TV industries, and I can tell who's had work done, and who hasn't. If you want to see a terrific example of a woman who's aging naturally, and who's only had a small amount of work done on her jawline, see Annette Bening in "Being Julia." Amazing movie, and she's a work of art in it. I wouldn't be surprised to see her get an Oscar nomination for it.

We finished work last year on a film in which she stars - "Mrs. Harris" - based on the Scarsdale doctor murder, Herman Tarnower, for anyone who remembers it. Ms. Annette is gonna get an Oscar for her performance, I bet anything. She's brilliant and brave.

It's based on Shana Alexander's biography of Jean Harris.

Sir Ben Kingsley plays Herman Tarnower, and, I tell you, if not for the height difference - Sir Ben (he insisted we call him that, and that we refer to his new young wife as "Lady Kingsley") is about a foot shorter than the later Herman - you would honestly believe he's Tarnower. He's so fucking good.

Cloris Leachman as Pearl, his sister. It's a great cast. Great movie. You'll have a ball. Produced by the same avant garde bunch of bulldyke producer girls who did "Boys Don't Cry." Gutsy, smart, absolutely wonderful women who aren't afraid to go out on a limb with artsy projects and bring them to fruition.

She wrote a very fine biography of Jean Harris, considering that Mrs. Harris wouldn't speak with her or consent to even one interview. In fact, she's never spoken about the murder, or Tarnower, or her relationship with him. She wouldn't take the stand during her trial because she didn't want to speak ill of Herman. That's how brainwashed she was.

Here's a little "insider" story: when we started getting this movie into production, I mentioned it to a friend of mine in Miami. Turned out she had a friend whose mother had done time in Bedford Hills while Mrs. Harris was there, and was a very good prison buddy of hers. Yes, she was more than happy to talk to us.

The book made me feel completely different about Jean Harris(we are close in age). I actually felt so sorry for her-he treated her like dirt and her humiliation must have been awful.

I wondered what would have made a woman of her intelligence allow such behavior.
