Even defrocked dis-United Methodists can be Progressives
For what it's worth...

Expanding the breadth of inclusiveness to ministers with committed lesbian relationships seems congruent with progressive beliefs.

And NO ONE here said the protestant reformation remained progressive.

It seems like there should be a synod of progressive congregations able to look beyond the narrow myopisms of theocrats stuck in the 17th century.
