http://ap.tbo.com/ap/breaking/MGBD0PQQ92E.html

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. (AP) - A mobile home police believe might have been used as a methamphetamine lab burst into flames Thursday after an explosion, killing two adults and two children.

The parents of the children, ages 2 and 5, were at a casino at the time of the early morning fire, police said. The two men who died in the blaze were not related to the children.

8. Why should I go there?
Why don't you just explain what you mean by "morality in the south?"

12. that whole "morality voter" thing
you know, how some people are claiming such a stunning victory for morals while things like this happening in very red states contradicts them.

13. Morality does not exist
And neither do Red States and Blue States. They are constructs used in conjunction with propaganda to divide Americans.

People claim a lot of things. I dissect the things they claim. :)

16. I know, but...
when people claim subjective things as their own, it's fun to hold them to it.

6. I was just going to say the same, but I got distracted
If one could go to Rite-Aid and get their FDA approved Crank, then we'd have at least minus one problem to deal with.

Jus' dittoing

20. Yes, breaking down the barrier to obtain crank definitely
would subtract a problem. How many would it add?

I have read some stuff that the shit will fuck you up in hurry. Maybe not? But thats what I have read. Perhaps some people can use it recreationally with no problems at all? What you heard?

11. Yeah, it's no marijuana.
It's not pleasant stuff. But from what I understand most people who are killed or injured from it are done so from fires or explosions during its manufacturing, or due to contaminates from sloppy synthesis.

15. yeah its probably a bitch...
if you are addicted to it, however it should still be a persons choice on what they will consume.

If drugs were legal, safety would be improved, poverty might not be so bad since legal drugs are cheaper, it would be more possible to get treatment of abuse because there isnt the stigma of admiting that you are commiting a crime.

17. Treating meth abusers is an almost pointless exercise
Edited on Fri Dec-03-04 03:44 AM by NickB79
Not trying to sound cruel or pessimistic, but meth is by far one, if not the most addictive drugs out there right now. I read a very good article in Rolling Stone two years ago about meth addiction and it's consequences. The damage it does is permanent, to the point that you need to take anti-depressants for the rest of your life in many cases simply to function. Meth users had a 90% failure rate to stay clean for one year after completing drug rehab classes, compared to 50% for crack or cocaine. Legalizing marijuana is one thing, because marijuana isn't physically addictive; legalizing meth is entirely different because it causes significant and long-term brain damage that can't be reversed.

when you are forced to do things illegaly, things such as safety take a back seat to not getting caught.

5. I've said it before
no one died from a marijuana patch explosion. This is not saying that people weren't killed over marijuana patches, just that the killings were not accidental (and those killings could have been prevented if marijuana was legal).

And, the OK law limited sudafed is not working.

21. the Oklahoma sudafed law is not working because.......
the would-be chemists just come over the border to Texas and shoplift massive amount at the local wallymart.

while they are here they can visit the local anhydrous ammonia tanks.

beware, my little county has motion detector devices set up around said tanks. the deputies stay real busy.

we had to build a bigger jail to hold all the idiot meth makers coming down from oklahoma.

25. People in Tahlequah
did not come to Texas. Maybe Arkansas or Kansas, but not Texas.

This law will never make a difference. Most of them were probably getting the drugs before they ever went on the shelves anyway.

26. Other benefits of legalizing drugs...
The Prison-Industrial Complex wouldnt make as much money building all these prisons to house drug users.

Also local governments could stop wasting officers and resources on drug crimes and could instead focus on some real crimes instead.
