are the resigning Cabinet members the ONLY people in DC . . .
who realize that this country is facing a crisis (or, more accuately, any number of crises) of monumental proportions? . . . Iraq, the budget deficit, the stolen election, the falling dollar, declining enlistments, the BushCo push for new wars, etc. etc. etc. . . why aren't the Democrats going after BushCo and their policies hammer and tong? . . . why are they sitting on their hands, except to raise them in support of Republican legislation? . . . WAKE UP, PEOPLE!!! . . . that light at the end of the tunnel is an approaching train! . . .

(end of rant . . . sorry, just had to get that out this morning . . .)

1. It's beginning to appear dems are as bad as repubs
when it comes to looking out for our interests.

This is the same congress who signed the Check 21 law into existence.

2. Same reason that they enable Bushco for the past four years
It is the two party/same corporate master system of government. Until that changes, until we have a political party that isn't beholden to corporate interests, there is going to be no real change of direction in this country, merely a change of the speed with which we are approaching the cliff edge.

This has happened before in our country, it was called the Gilded Age, and wound up with the Great Depression. By all measures we are exceeding the insanity of that time period, so God help us when the shit hits the fan, I fear that this country won't survive.
