Anyone know how to remove "read only" from |
|
windows "My documents". I want to copy the files to a CD.
Thanks

1. Highlight the file and |
|

There should be an option at the bottom to uncheck on the menu that comes up.

4. Highlight all the files and right click on one of them |
|
then select properties. You will see the attributes at the bottom of the window.

7. Thanks everybody. Even though I "unclicked" the read only box |
|
it still told me access denied. Then I went to my "drag disc" window and hauled the my documents file to that window and it worked. The last time I did this it wasn't that complicated. I simply highlighted all my files and went to the "send to" box and sent to my F drive.
Job complete. Thanks
