"Our leader" sign has a new addition

I just drove by one on I-4 headed West between Fairbanks on Lee Rd. in Orlando. The billboard now has a big red ribbon over the name "George W. Bush" that reads "UNITED for a better tomorrow". Today is pretty well f**ked up, so "uniting" in BushCo worship won't really help a damn thing, except to allow Clear Channel a bigger slice of the media pie. I guess that's the "better tomorrow" they have in mind. :puke: :eyes:

2. Why did they translate from the original German?

I'm sure everyone would have understood the message if the billboard had read (in big Gothic type, naturally) "Der Fuehrer."

It would then have the added benefit of being more accurate. Maybe I'll drop Clear Channel an email and suggest that.

8. I was wondering the same thing

they've positioned the signs so they are seen from your left as you're driving (oncoming traffic between you and the sign), so nobody could shoot anything at it (like a paintball) from the road. It's also positioned near a wealthy section of town that has a huge police force. Clear Channel knew what it was doing, it seems.
