Okay, if the Republicans are so sure of their victory, why are they scared of letting their votes be counted? When I know that I did nothing wrong, I always let it be proven by both sides of the conflict. If there is nothing to hide, than they should just let the votes be counted as soon as possible.
They are afraid of what the results will be. It might take a bite out of their "mandate":eyes:

1. because they cheated and have no principles whatsoever |

they will say and do whatever works in their goal of victory, laws and ethics be damned. the only thing that ever gives them pause is when they think they can't get away with it. which doesn't happen much, lately. basically, at this point, it still prevents overt violence, but not, i fear, for long.

A) They have something to hide. B) They fear losing in their little "revenge of the nerds". C) Fear of EVERYTHING is what Radical Right conservatism is based on. These people are afraid the normal people are going to take away their power. They are like school-yard bullies. Have you ever met a school-yard bully who wasn't a worthless coward? I haven't.

And that is the same for politicians and private citizen Republicans. If they are all so confident in the integrity of their "win" then they not only would not have a problem with a recount, they would not have a problem with a national re vote on paper either! Now take that to the bank.
