Mom's of kids who drop their kids off at my house and then go shopping without even telling me. She did this to me the other day and when I went to drop the kids off at home because it was about 7:30pm on a school night, she wasn't home and she didn't even tell me. How rude!!! and tonight she tried to do it again and I told her we were going out to dinner.

3. There's always a "neighborhood mom" |
|
and I guess this woman figures you're it.
Tell her you need to know exactly where she is going and how long she expects to be. Present her with a power of attorney in case something happens to her kid and he has to be taken to an emergency room. Tell her you expect to be reimbursed for any food the kid eats.
She'll probably find another sucker if you do that. At the very least, it'll make her confront a few hard truths about dumping her kids off on somebody else and expecting all services gratis while she departs for places unknown.
