Columnist David Limbaugh belittles those calling for a recount in Ohio and claims that the "demagogic mantra, 'Every vote must count,' is getting old." He asserts that: "The Democrats started a very dangerous precedent in Florida, and they're playing with fire again in Ohio. While they profess to be motivated by a desire to restore public confidence in the process, they are going to degrade our system to that of a glorified banana republic if they don't stop these reckless assaults."

He's had some great shows this past week about the Gregoire/Rossi recount. He predicted all sorts of name calling - in fact almost exactly what Limbaugh Lite is saying. One humorous comment went something like this: Why is Rossi so impatient? Is he hurrying to get his tuxedo out of the dry cleaners?

To sum it up - what's the damn rush? This is only our democracy at stake here. So now, counting the votes is a demagogic mantra. That's interesting. Well, I've got a mantra, too. Not counting votes is unamerican.

I never heard of the brother and could care less what he thinks about a recount. His opinion is no greater than that of his brother and holds little if any value to the citizen whose vote was not counted.
