Can we please let the "Edwards is running for veep" thing die |
|
as well as, he'd make a good veep etc.
This spin gets put on his campaign every time he's brought up
He wouldn't be the veep for Kerry, Graham would because that could win Florida, and Kerry could never win NC, TN, AR, and GA(the top states Edwards could at the top of the ticket)
He would never veep for Dean, for a multitude of reasons, primarily because he wants to have a political career. Dean also lied about Edwards record and would only pick a "real" democrat I assume(his definition/implication of one)
and nobody else has a shot at the nom right now
Him running for veep was a Rove/RW talking point put out to diminish his candidacy when he announced. People here need to stop regurgitating it.

...I find it quite ironic that YOU get upset over somebody saying things that you don't like about your candidate.
Your attacks in the past don't much qualify you for sainthood while asking for people to stop regurgitating anything.

I think it's just adorable how some candidates are automatically relegated to "running for VP" at DU.
And somehow, that candidate is never Dean or Kerry.
Why on earth would Edwards or any other person spend all this money on a candidacy they know is going nowhere? Has there been some sort of major action among VP candidates? Is this the new way, LOL?
I think some folks have a tendency to put their second favorite in the "would make a great VP for...", which is natural.
