Rep. Don Young opens mouth & dissed 300 scientists (he knows better)

Alaska congressional delegation doubts scientists' conclusions

All three members of Alaska's congressional delegation dispute the conclusion of leading scientists that human activity is causing the rapid warming of the Arctic that is wrecking villages and melting glaciers.

Alaska's lone congressman, Republican Rep. Don Young, went so far as dismissing the major new report on Arctic climate change. He called it ammunition for fearmongers.

"My biggest concern is that people are going to use this so-called study to try to influence the way and standard of living that occurs within the United States," Young said.

"I don't believe it is our fault. That's an opinion," Young said. "It's as sound as any scientist's."

6. Consider the Source
Don Young was so pathetic he lost to a dead man, then was appointed afterwards.

In fact, Alaska has NEVER elected a Senator or Representative the first time around. It's how you get in office up here, get appointed then get elected, then you have seniority and Alaskans LOVE their pork so you get to stay in.

Isn't it just ironic, a state as red as Alaska and yet they all LOVE THEIR GOVERNMENT SUBSIDIES.

HYPOCRITS, HYPOCRITS, I AM SURROUNDED BY HYPOCRITS!!!

in November. It must be a virus going around!

Republican Clown Young is between Sen. Stevens and Gov. Murkowski

The greatest mind of the last 100 years, Senator Ted Stevens concurs. Let us all in on his exalted opinion just last month!

9. Yeah, who wants to believe
what dumb old scientists have to say anyway. (sarcasm note) After all they are the ones who have gotten us this far in life due to their stupid discoveries. Don't give them any credit for knowing anything. What an idiot. Everytime they open their mouth their IQ's go down.
