I laughed my ass off when I saw that tonight. My first thought:
"They are going to get sued by Faux News... AGAIN"

That was funny. I doubt it will result in a lawsuit.

5. Well, the reason I mentioned it |

Is because Faux News sued the Simpsons two years ago when, on the Episode Mr Spitz Goes to Washington, they featured a parody of Faux News. Krusty was a Republican candidate for Congress, and the Faux News anchor kept attacking and shouting down the Democrat while kissing Krusty's ass. Also, the whole time they ran a "ticker" with headlines like "Democrats Cause Cancer" and "JFK joins Republican party posthumously".
Matt Groening was pissed off when he heard that Faux News was suing them over it. But it was dealt with before ever seeing a courtroom. Once again, Faux News was exposed as a complete joke (as in their lawsuit of Al Franken). But, to appease Faux News, Groening was told that the Simpsons can never do one of those news tickers again. That was the compromise.

6. The Bush/Cheney truck? |
|
Yes, and the ad was way bigger than the Fox News I.D. !
Last night they had Sideshow Bob, the convicted murderer, running for office calling his opponent a flip-flopper, etc. and the media announcer was "Birch" - (as in John?) who looked and sounded like Limpbaugh.
BTW, that was Homer's listening station
