Possibly the most offensive Rapture Ready thread EVER.
Edited on Mon Dec-06-04 04:07 AM by Sannum
These people amaze me everytime I hold my nose and visit:eyes:

Last night I went to get a hair cut at a place I normally go to.
I am a man and all of the barbers are normally women.
Last night they had a male barber who by appearance seemed to be gay.
I was actually sweating thinking that I might get him as my barber.

Do I hate gays? Absolutely not!
Do I want a gay guy touching me? Absolutely not!

I am not saying that it's a bad thing for a gay guy to touch me or anyone else.
I am just saying that I am not comfortable with it.

What's my point?
That this whole gay movement will affect you whether you want it to or not.

What's my question?
Can I tell him "No thanks, I'm waiting for one of the girls"?
Or must I just grin and bear it?

http://www.rr-bb.com/showthread.php?t=149025

Is being gay contagious? This guy thinks so. I have gay friends, hairdressers, and colleagues, but I am still as straight as an arrow. Maybe I got my shots:eyes: And I don't usually take sides in the Israel/Palestine issue, but what the hell is with this sig-line photo?

These people are nuttier than the freepers.

1. WTF did you expect from the "rapture ready"?
You hang with idiots, expect idiocy.

3. Symptomatic?

Someone who invests too much time and thought into fearing the touch of someone who might be gay is certainly manifesting some homo-phobic issues of their own.

More of a look within, rather than without, problem. Let's see, motes and planks?

5. Oh lord
I'd be wishing for the gay guy so I could get a stylish haircut from somebody that knows mens fashion and style.

6. If you read on in the thread it gets even better.
Let me tell you what: I despise these people. I'm thinking of joining their site, just to let them try to preach to me so I can show them how hateful they are.

I don't want them to be nice to me. Cut the candycoated bullshit. They would cum in their pants if they could see some harm come to me. I have lost all tolerance for their hate and self-righteousness.

Just like your Monkeyboy says: Bring it on, motherfuckers. Bring it on.

7. Actually, they're being pretty civil about it
Most of the RR posters are giving advice to cool it, that you can't "catch" gayness, etc.

It is a little unusual for hardcore Xtians, though.

8. The part I like best is...
is where he calls it a "whole gay movement."

These people are brain-washed!

9. God, everything's such a struggle for fundies!
They can't even contemplate a damned haircut without going through a series of hateful gyrations. Ohhh, watch out -- it's a **gay** man! Gasp! Don't let him touch you!!! :grr: Utterly ridiculous.

Somewhere down in their thread is a post about "Christianity isn't about tolerance..."

Wow. I guess that says it all.
