I found the perfect candidate for 2008
His name is James Odell Smith.

He was born in 1953 to a North Carolina tobacco farmer. He spent his youth working in the tobacco fields.

At age 10, he says the Lord commanded him to run every day. These daily runs gave him the speed to win a basketball scholarship to Shaw University, a historically black university.

After graduation, he joined the Army and was sent to Fort Bragg. Fort Bragg is the home of the Army Boxing Team, and Smith learned to box while stationed at the sprawling Sandhills installation.

After leaving the Army, he moved to Philadelphia and trained at Joe Frazier's gym. He then returned to North Carolina to work as a state prison guard. In 1981, he received a professional boxing license and adopted the nickname "Bonecrusher."

Bonecrusher Smith had 62 professional fights. He won 44 bouts with 32 knockouts. At various times in his career, he held the WBA, WBC, NABF and IBF world heavyweight championships and the WBA Americas championship.

After retiring from boxing, he established the North Carolina Boxing Commission and served as its first chairman. He is now a motivational speaker.

I figure he can't do any worse than Shrub, and as the head of a state boxing commission he was in a position that required more hands-on politicking than the one Shrub had before he went to Washington.

And what terrorist is gonna fuck with a country that is being led by The Champ?

* * * * *

All kidding aside...considering the Democrats who are now in politics, I think we'll have to go outside politics to find someone who can beat the BFEE.

1. Ted Koppel for President in 2008
President Ted Koppel and Vice President Michael Moore.

I'd vote for that.

Ventura calling ahnold the gropenator a liar(but in more words). Jesse looks somewhat goofy in it with dark black scraggily hair, but his message is right on the money. He may be too tough to take as our nominee, but he'd be fantastic as a candidate, even if it was as an independent.

Pros
He's a former Seal(I'm pretty sure)
Vietnam Vet
Former Governor - edited to add "former"
Wrestler (instant tie-in to Nascar Dad demographic)
Talks in "regular" language
Talks truth to power
Name Recognition
Socially liberal - Not 100% on this

Cons
Wrestler - Not taken seriously
Record as MN Gov - Only listed as a Con because I don't know enough about it and ANY record WILL be distorted by bush*co 2008(bush* may not run but his "machine" will pick their replacement puppet)
