WGN radio news cleans up Gephardt's language for him
they reported that Gephardt called Bush a "failure."

I guess they thought Gep didn't really mean what he actually said, which was "miserable failure."

Mabye they thought they were doing him a favor, that if they reported what he actually said he would sound too harsh?

Or maybe they didn't want to let the cat out of the bag that the Democrats are seriously offering an alternative to the worst president in history?

I'm going to go with the latter, since WGN is a sister company of the Chicago Tribune, which endorses people like Bush, Ryan and Hastert.

1. So now they're censoring a candidate's speech!
Incredible! If I wasn't living in what seems to be Kafka's worst nightmare I wouldn't believe it. So now these corporate NAZIs can censor MY party's candidate? Clean up his speech, will they? I've got the World's Greatest Newspaper right here, where it belongs, on the bottom:

"Everyone LOVES the media."
