Are you listening Osama?
Columbia Daily Tribune-

When Secretary of Health and Human Services Tommy Thompson resigned yesterday, he issued a warning of a possible terror attack on the nation’s food supply.

"For the life of me, I cannot understand why the terrorists have not attacked our food supply, because it is so easy to do," Thompson said. "We are importing a lot of food from the Middle East, and it would be easy to tamper with that."

Way to go Tommy boy. Point out our weak spots on the international media. I'd say this fuzzy-headed, hare-brained pronouncement puts you on the short list for Al Queda's Man of the Year Award. What WERE you thinking? Or were you, at all? With friends like you, who needs enemies?

Pass the pistachios.

1. I think what he is saying is....
I told my dumb ass boss that this is a potential hazzard and he did absolutely nothing with it....and if anyone(OBL) has enough smarts to take out a section of lower Manhattan as well as start the next crusades...they might be smart enough to poison the food that comes from that very neck of the woods or something on that order....

I think he was really saying **sh is a stupid *&%^%(*%&^%&^%%$#(*%^*(&^*%*&^(*&^%(*&^(*)^(*&^%$&*^%&%&^%&^$&$(*^%&%(*&^

That's all!

Bush would not have nominated him otherwise. :) *grin* It takes a genius to recognize another, see?

3. Many people at USDA feel OBL has already attacked the food
Starting in late 2000 several pests and diseases have made their way into the US under suspicious circumstances. Most notable are soybean rust and soybean aphid which both appeared out of nowhere right in the middle of the country. Both severely reduce soybean yields and are spreading like wildfire.
No one knows for sure how these pests got here but most researchers feel it was deliberate.
