Poll question: Do you really believe that BushCo will be removed from power?
this is a follow up, if you will, of my fascism poll. here's the deal- if we've already descended into fascism, as a large majority of the voters in that poll believed, how can we expect any of these recounts/protests to make a difference? it's pessimistic sounding, but given the state of dem leadership, i see no reason to believe that kerry will be taking the oath on inaugaration day.

2. I'll Be Amazed To See Bush Removed From Power Before End Of His 2nd Term
I believe Bushco will do anything to retain power. That 9/11 occured on the very day that the nation's newspapers were scheduled to report that Gore won Florida in 2000 is an example of the kind of stunts I fear.

5. If he is inaugurated
he will not be removed, unless Laura catches him with an intern, in which case, it may be sudden and final.

If we can't PROVE fraud in a court before the inauguration, then he will be inaugurated.

7. From the time I 1st heard he was going to run
Edited on Tue Dec-07-04 12:01 AM by Pastiche423
for the presidency, I have believed he would go the way of his mentor - Nixon.

Remember - Nixon was elected in November 1972 and took his farewell copter ride in August 1974.

11. unlike Nixon or Clinton, Bush and Cheney will be removed from office..
this will happen in 2007, after Democrats win majorities in both the House and Senate by the largest margins since 1974!

9. I think he will be President until he resigns or dies. Pres for Life
Seriously. First they make it possible for Bush to serve unlimited terms, then they keep embracing terror and fear (along with substantial fraud) to get him re-elected two or three times, then they will just get rid of the whole notion of voting for President entirely.

Bush will be in power for at least ten more years.

13. I fear he may overturn the "two-term" amendment
If crap hits the fan come 2007, I think * might seek to overturn the two term limit amendment. Now wouldn't that be something????

10. The dark side now holds the power, and they're not going to give it up...
They control all three branches of government. The media dances to their tune. And they are playing at least half of the citizenry like a harp.

It's tough to be optimistic about any positive change right now.

12. The Bush Crime Family have overthrown the Constitution.
I really do beleive that there will be no more real elections in Jesusland. We're all going to be forced to vote with the Diebold box and it will be rigged to keep the Nazi Party in power no matter what.

I have never been as disillusioned as I am now. Everything I had was lost, including my boy. Thanks to Bush, he has a permanent residence in the VA Cemetary. Bush can take nothing more from me, I have nothing left to lose.

I want Kerry to explain to me why he laid down and died. If he made a Bonesman deal, I demand him to disclose it.

But,who am I to ask? In Jesusland, the only thing that counts is money. And I have none.

17. I voted other...
...for the simple reason, none of your responses match what I think will happen.

No I don't believe the evil ones will be removed from power. I honestly believe fraud did happen. And I truly don't believe the DLC will roll over with it. I think the DLC won't be given the chance to roll over with it simply because the recounting efforts are moving slow.

I know many people are working hard to make the recounts happen, but I think the right wing plans on tying stuff up in the court system just long enough for the boy king to be sworn in on 01/20/05. Once he is sworn in from what I understand by what other DUers are saying, the only way he can be removed is via impeachment. And basically with a repuke controlled everything, impeachment ain't about to happen.

18. in this, bush is the symptom, not the problem.
this is about a consolidation of power in the hands of corporate america.
we hate bush -- and he's despicable -- but it would be a mistake to think he's the sole holder of the problem with democracy in america.

along with the Rethugs and Dems keep Corp Amerika in power. They are the front men. Behind the scene are the actual power brokers.
