Mary Travers of Peter, Paul and Mary diagnosed with leukemia
Mary Travers, one-third of the landmark folk trio Peter, Paul & Mary, was diagnosed with Leukemia soon after Thanksgiving. The 67 year-old singer has already begun a course of chemotherapy and is expected to recover.

1. Mary Travers is an American Institution.
Here's wishing with all my heart that Mary has a full recovery and that this angel makes it through chemo easily and without suffering.

I still love Peter, Paul and Mary, their songs, their activism and their unique role in our contemporary history.

much she is admired and loved around the world. Here's hoping for a full and speedy recovery. Long live Mary Travers.
