Today's Crossfire: Soldiers always complain
Today on CNN's Crossfire (Al Sharpton and Bob Novak) there was some discussion about the Q&A held by Rumsfeld with the military. During the course, Novak says, "The military has always been full of complainers!" (Paraphrasing)

The comment set me off then and I'm still angry about it. I cannot remember one time in my life when my father complained about his service in WWII or the scar all the way up his leg he earned there. I don't remember my uncles complaining... My cousins and nephews serving today don't complain... matter-of-fact, I'm hard-pressed to think of one military man/woman I've known who was a complainer.

How can anyone look at any person who says something like this and honestly believe that person "supports the troops"?

1. Short Novak:
"Shut up and Die".

No fate is too horrible to contemplate for this person. None.

6. F**K NOVAK
Olbermann did a great job on this story just a few minutes ago. I think he said "I don't know whether to cry or hit somebody".

7. It was actually the contrast of Olbermann
that led me to post this. I mean, I knew it went all over me when I heard it, but I've been super-sensitive about stuff. I wasn't sure if really was offensive or if it was just me. Well... Olbermann helped me decide. He felt the exact way I did after watching that Q&A, torn between anger and sadness.
