Hillbilly Armor
My local TV station interviewed both the ex-wife and girlfriend (only in Tennessee!) of the soldier who skewered Rummy with the question about scrounging for armor. The reporter also noted that the soldier "would not be disciplined" for his question. That statement in and of itself is a tacit admission of how far our country has fallen -- that a soldier could possibly be "disciplined" for telling the truth. Sad.

1. I noticed that line ended almost every report on this
I was going to start a thread on it but no need now.

Was there ever a question that he would be punished for standing up and asking a question in a "town hall" setting?

Are they trying to say that IF you are in uniform it is okay otherwise STFU?

2. "Shoot this man, he is awake and paying attention!"
"Are you questioning my divine orders, soldier?"
