I'm pumped about the debate tonight

I don't know about you guys but I haven't been this excited in a long time. It reminds me of my athletic days, wrestling in the state finals, representing my country overseas in Bulgaria, or even when I rode bulls.

Electricity crackling in the air.

Adrenaline pulsing through my body with each heartbeat.

Politics is exciting. As dramatic and intense as anything I have ever been involved with. I find words and ideas captivating. Tonight, I expect to hear good things from these candidates, as each have important messages to get across.

I am a die-hard Kucinich supporter, yet I love all of these candidates in many ways. One of them will be squaring off next year against the worst president of all time, with all of my hopes hinging on their ability to win and turn our country into a progressive example for the rest of the world to follow. Sure, this notion is idealistic, however, we genuflect to the power of our elected officials to do what is good and just. No doubt, all of those seeking to defeat Bush in '04 are much better than what we have. My faith is such that they will all rise to the occasion.

Rising to give us an expectation for all the good things that are to come.
