On Bill O"Reilly last night, Ann Coulter was true to form.

They were dicussing Harry Reid's assertion that Clarence Thomas is an "embarrassment."

Bill: You think it's racial thing with them?

Ann: Oh yea it's laughable.
They feel like they have Blacks on the plantation, they can say what ever they like.

I wish I could remember the details, or wasn't too lazy right now to research. A case went to SCOTUS about unfairness in jury selection (for death penalty cases) in Texas. Supposedly, prosecutors were stacking the jury pool to have minorities near the bottom and using their pre-emptive strikes to eliminate African Americans from sitting on a jury.


The Dallas prosecutor's office actually had a manual saying to try to avoid having African Americans, Hispanics, Jews and women on juries.

The Fifth Court of Appeals saw nothing wrong with this, but it went to SCOTUS & in an 8-1 decision, they agreed that there were some merits to the claim and the Fifth Court needed to to review it again.

The one dissenter....you've probably guessed it...Clarence Thomas
