My SO is a 100% disabled Vietnam vet. I am living in OK and he has been up here with me for several months. He normally goes to the VA in San Antonio. He had been to the VA in Lawton a couple of times and they had no problem treating him. Today was another matter. Not only did they not help him, they said anything other then a cold, fever will have to go to Oklahoma City for treatment. They were also very rude to him. He does have insurance, he retired from civil service after 33 years, but he still likes to use the services that were promised to him!!! Lawton is home to one of the largest Army bases in the country, what is going to happen to all the vets?

they'll just have to drive the 2 hours (or so) to OKC. Who cares if they're too sick or in pain to handle that kind of drive?
I hate this administration. They're disabling our service men and women and cutting any options of treatment when they get back. Assholes!
