Can we assume the US soldiers who want the armor have seen |

actual armored vehicles survive mine hits? If so, they might be a bit pissed at what Rumsfeld said about the lack of armor on some vehicles being a "matter of physics". In reality, it's a matter of either surviving a mine hit, or getting your guts splattered all over the desert. The soldiers all know that, and yet Rumsfeld only offers pathetic excuses.
I know exactly what I'd do if I were stuck in Bush's military.

With all the million the DOD gets you would think they could do this. Less costly than just trying to get a replacement man in to the service.That seems to be a really big job now.
