I watched a reality show today, "Maximum Exposure" |
|
The entire show was themed on sensational vids of protesters and protests.
They showed the Coast Guard trying to down Greenpeace helicopters with water cannon and Peta throwing dye on runway models etc.
Then they did a clip of some young girls that cuffed themselves together through metal tubes around some immovable object in Eureka Ca.
What got my attention was when the announcer mentioned the police were using "Torture Tactics"...After informing the girls they were on private property, they told them they would use "chemical agents" to coerce them to disconnect and leave.
While one of the girls was stating the illegality of torture on private citizens they showed the police spray mace into a paper cup. then using cotton squabs they applied the mace directly into the girls eyes one by one as another officer held their heads steady and forced their eyes open.
By now I was staring into the screen, mouth agape as the girls screaming dominated the audio track. Then, in obvious frustration the police once again held their eyes open and sprayed the mace directly into their eyes from about two inches.....End of video.
The host followed up by mentioning that the girls sued the city and lost...Then again on appeal.
WTF?...I gotta go outside and check my address to see what country I live in.

Its amazing at how little we as a nation really understand about the world we have created. This country was founded by two groups: exploitationists and hard workers. The exploitationists push people into ghettos, into labor camps, prisons, etc. The hard working people submit because they have no way of standing up to this on their own. Then, when the oppressed get hungry and killed in large enough numbers, they revolt. Up to this point in U.S. history, there have been no less than four revolutions: The Revolutionary War, The Civil War, the labor movement in the late 1800's, and the civil right movement in the late 1950's to early 1960's. Many people have tried to end the struggle once and for all, but both forces are still alive. I sincerely hope that the hard workers prevail, and in some measure they have up to this point. Continued work is required, however.

they should call all the shit shows " IN SEARCH OF STOCK FOOTAGE " they can churn this crap out for less than a thirty second commercial cost for some local car dealer.Get a narrator some violent footage for almost nothing,a hack writer and count the money. When I tell people in L.A. that i am developing a show called " Celebrity Enimas " they don't even laugh because they wish it was thier bad idea.Don't miss " America's funniest industrial deaths " coming soon on Fox.
